Radio Star Hugh Hewitt to address Christian Journalists

New York, N.Y. , February 14, 2008—Hugh Hewitt, Los Angeles talk show host, author, blogger, and journalist will keynote the annual conference of the alumni of the World Journalism Institute in New York City on Friday, April 18. The conference will be Friday and Saturday, April 18 and 19 and will be held on the campus of The King’s College in the Empire State Building.

Joining Hewitt as speakers for this conference will be Don Boykin (formerly, Atlanta Journal-Constitution), Manny Garcia (Miami Herald), Mark Tapscott (Washington Examiner), Russell Pulliam (Indianapolis Star), and David Zeeck (Tacoma News Tribune, and immediate past president of the National Association of Newspaper Editors). Eric Metaxas, author and television commentator, will address the alums at lunch on Saturday.

Friday afternoon will offer tours of New York media outlets such as ABC, New York Daily News, New York Sun. and the Wall Street Journal.

 The annual conference is designed for alums of the World Journalism Institute to renew acquaintances, increase networking contacts and enjoy New York City. The mission of the World Journalism Institute is to recruit, equip, place and encourage journalists who are Christian in the mainstream newsrooms of America.
