Tim Devaney (09) has a summer internship at The Detroit News. Devaney also won two regional awards from the Society of Professional Journalists for his work at Cornerstone University's paper: second place for in-depth reporting, and third for sports columns. He is a graduate of Cornerstone University.

Emily Killian (03) is designing several newspapers, part of her new job at the Consolidated Editing Center for Media General in the southeast. Killian is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University.

Holly Wise (04) is the new editor of the Copperas Cove Herald in Copperas Cove, Texas. Wise is a graduate of Murray State University.

Dan Wooding (speaker 02-04) has released Red Dagger, his first novel. Much of it is based in Gaza, and features a Palestinian terrorist, an Irish double agent and a drunken journalist, all of whom find redemption.
