Whitney Coleman (WJI 08) is interning on the business desk at the Tacoma (Wash.) News-Tribune.

James Fallows (WJI speaker 05) has put out a book, just reviewed in the New York Times' Sunday Book Review. It's made up of several of his columns from Atlantic Monthly and is called Postcards from Tomorrow Square: Reports from China (Vintage).

Lauren Green (WJI speaker 09) has been awarded a Templeton-Cambridge Fellowhip to study the dynamics between science and religion. Green is Fox News Channel's chief religion correspondent and is scheduled to speak May 29, 2009, at the closing dinner of the World Journalism Institute's May course, Backpack Journalism in a Digital Age.

Michael Luo (WJI teacher 03) reports for the New York Times and wrote a story which ran on the front page of the Times, February 28, 2009, entitled Forced From Executive Pay to Hourly Wage.
