Amy Doolittle Bushatz (’04) is now managing editor of SpouseBUZZ.com, a Military.com news and lifestyle blog for military spouses, in addition to her duties as a Military.com associate news editor. Bushatz is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College and can be reached at amydoolittle@gmail.com.

Lorraine Krall (‘04) was added to the faculty of the John Jay Institute as a research associate for 2011-12. Krall is a doctoral candidate at Georgetown University and a graduate of Grove City College. She can be reached at lek25@georgetown.edu.

Michael Ray Smith (WJI’s John McCandlish Phillips Scholar ‘11 and teacher ’01-03, ‘06, ’09-10) was presented with the Faculty Award for Commitment to Teaching by Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., where he is a professor of communication studies. Smith's latest book is A Free Press in Freehand, and he can be reached at smithm@campbell.edu.

Mizell Stewart III (guest speaker ‘06-09) has been hired as vice president of content for the newspaper group of the E.W. Scripps Company, where he will oversee editors in Scripps’ 13 newspaper markets, for both print and digital platforms.
