Sarah Pulliam Bailey (03) won first place in the Evangelical Press Association Awardsin the personality category for her cover storyon Beth Moore. She also started writing a monthly column for the Indianapolis Star in February on culture and politics. Bailey is a graduate of Wheaton College and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Eric Metaxas (speaker 03-09) received the Becket Fund’s 2011 Canterbury Medal for Religious Freedom, "for the way he has consistently and winsomely re-introduced religious principles to the forefront of American culture as well as for elevating the cause of religious freedom by profiling a true martyr for its cause.” His biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer is available here. Heather Skold (02) is a news anchor at KRDO in Colorado Springs, and recently won a regional Edward R. Murrow award in the category "Continuing Coverage" for her series of stories called "Breast Cancer: Faces of Pain, Faces of Hope," which focused on breast cancer survivors. Regina Wang (08) is has a three-month WJI internship at the Raleigh News and Observer. In addition to graduating from WJI, Wang was a member of the WJI Urbana Today journalism project in 2006.
