WJI Buzz - Belz, Olasky, Ross, African Workshop

Nat Belz (WJI teacher, '99, 01) is creative director of Trak, a new high school edition of WORLD magazine. Belz will also teach Christian worldview in WJI’s African Journalism Workshop in Uganda in January and can be reached at nat.belz@gmail.com.
Marvin Olasky (WJI dean of instruction and WORLD magazine editor) is planning a week-long training session in Asheville, N.C., to be held in late October for ten writers aged 25 to 75. WORLD hopes to build a network of correspondents across the U.S.
Chris Ross ('08) is a first-year student at Fordham University School of Law and has been hired as Program Manager for the Presidential Scholars Program at The King’s College. Ross is a graduate of The King’s College and can be reached at cross@tkc.edu.
African Journalism Workshop
WJI has invited 17 journalists to receive the Belz International Media Fellowship as participants in WJI’s first African Journalism Workshop. The workshop will be held January 15-27, 2012, on the campus of the African Bible University in Uganda.
