WJI Buzz - Tindall, Hertzberg, Duin, Plummer

Mary Knowles Tindall (WJI 03) has been hired as a copy editor by the Orlando Sentinel, after serving a summer internship at the Wall Street Journal in Princeton, N.J.

Hendrik Hertzberg (center of group) spoke at Covenant College, Tuesday, December 9, co-sponsored by WJI and Covenant College. The visit was coordinated by James Harrison (WJI 08) (front row, far left). Hertzberg is a regular guest speaker for WJI and exclusively covered the 2008 presidential campaign for The New Yorker.

Julia Duin (WJI guest teacher) appeared in Seattle on the Dave Ross show on KIRO radio, Monday, December 29, to promote her new book Quitting Church. A book signing was held at Harvest Logos bookstore. Duin is religion reporter at the Washington Times.

Janelle Plummer (WJI 05) is interning for Connection Newspapers in McLean, Va. Plummer recently served as editor as the WJI Times Observer.
