WJI Buzz - Taylor, Vaillancourt, Windham

The World Journalism Institute's annual two-month convergence journalism course equips students with skills needed to enter newsrooms. Some of the 2010 class put their new skills to use immediately this summer through internships around the country.

Jonah Taylor had an internship at The Wayne County News in Waynesboro, Miss. Taylor is a student at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Laura Vaillancourt interned for the Quad Community Press in White Bear Lake, Minn. Vaillancourt is a student at Bethel University.

April Windham interned as a staff reporter at The Decatur (Ala.) Daily. Windham is a student at Mississippi State University.
