Lori Arnold is an award-winning journalist and editor of the Christian Times newspapers, a chain of eight regional newspapers in four states. Prior to joining the Christian Times staff in May 2000, Arnold spent 16 years at the Daily Californian, a community newspaper in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon. In addition to serving as religion editor there, her beats included city government and education. Eventually she served as news and features editors. She holds a journalism degree, with a minor in religious studies, from San Diego State University. Besides numerous local and state writing awards, Arnold earned the national Louis Cassels Memorial Award from the Religious Newswriters Association; Best News Story from the Christian Newspaper Association, an affiliation of more than 50 Christian newspapers in North America; and an international design award from the Society of Newspaper Design.
