Minding Your P's and Q's with WORLD Magazine

What: Young journalists are invited to bring their work for one-on-one editorial critiques by the editors of WORLD magazine.

This critique workshop will provide the young journalist with expert editorial opinion on articles written by the young journalist. Each session will last 30 minutes, with the possibility of more editorial time later in the CPAC conference. Each student article will be evaluated as to headline, grammar, syntax, voice, ledes, structure and flow of narrative.

What: Young journalists are encouraged to learn about the skills and techniques involved in solid investigative reporting.

This panel discussion will feature top investigative reporters and editors who have covered political intrigues, military operations and more. Come hear how their work made a difference, and learn from them how to find the facts and report the truth.
